Warning: Rise in Fraudulent Websites and Apps

The Ministry of External Affairs has raised concerns over fraudulent websites and mobile applications that are misleading applicants by collecting their data and charging hefty fees for passport-related services. These fake websites, some of which use domain names like *.org, *.in, *.com, pose as official platforms to deceive citizens. Some examples of these fraudulent websites are:

Official Advisory to Citizens

The Ministry has strongly advised all citizens to avoid visiting these fraudulent websites or making any payments related to passport services on them. The official website for all passport-related services is www.passportindia.gov.in.

Additionally, applicants can use the official mobile app, mPassport Seva, available on Android and iOS platforms, for a safe and secure way to access passport services.

Stay alert and use only the official channels to avoid any scams.
