The online application process for Chevening Scholarships is open now. Students from eligible countries will have the opportunity to pursue higher education in the UK. Interested candidates can apply through the official Chevening website, chevening.org, from August 6 to November 5, 12 pm (GMT).
To participate, applicants must submit their educational documents, references, and at least one offer from a UK university, as per the guidelines on the Chevening website. The scholarship covers tuition fees, travel expenses to and from the candidate’s home country, and provides allowances for arrival, departure, and monthly living expenses.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must be citizens of a Chevening-eligible country.
- Applicants are required to return to their home country for a minimum of two years after completing the scholarship.
- A minimum of two years (or 2,800 hours) of work experience is mandatory, which can include full-time, part-time, voluntary work, and paid or unpaid internships.
- An undergraduate degree is required for those applying for master’s programs in the UK.
- Applicants must apply to three different courses to ensure at least one offer.
Applicants are advised to prepare all necessary documents and check their application status regularly via the Chevening online system. Selected candidates will receive updates on their application status throughout the selection process via email.
